"Panquecas', pronounced as “Pan-Keh-Kahs”, is Portuguese for pancakes.
Pancakes For The People

This Halal dessert brand idea was born out of a desire to accentuate the dining experience offered by our sister brand. Picanhas' is known for its speciality cuts like the Picanha steak, which is a secondary cut. Also, on our monthly specials, we introduce other secondary wagyu steak cuts paired with French Crepes Dessert.

Picanhas' is a 100% Muslim-Owned Brazillian steakhouse committed to providing heartfelt service, genuine connections, and culinary delight. However, we realised a meal with a sweet ending needed to be completed.

After extensive research into the Halal dessert scene, our pastry team explored various options, from Waffles, Crouffles, and Souffles pancakes, to Scones. Eventually, we decided to go with crepes, a French pancake dessert style that perfectly complements the savoury offerings of Picanhas'. Thus, Panquecas' was born, offering a sweet conclusion to a delightful dining experience.

Indulge in the Irresistible Delight of Halal French Crepes

At Panquecas', we bring this innovation to life. Our speciality lies in French crepes, and we take pride in adding a unique spin to the Halal dessert landscape in Singapore.

French crepes are thin, delicate pancakes from France. They're made with a simple batter of flour, eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt. When cooked, they become light and smooth. Crepes are often rolled or folded before serving. Depending on the fillings, they're versatile and can be enjoyed as a pancake dessert or a main course on our menu, like the Mentaiko Pasta.

With their thin and tender texture, they're a delightful treat!

The Creative People Behind the Halal Dessert Menu

Behind the scenes, a team of passionate visionaries embarks on a delightful journey dedicated to crafting the perfect dessert menu. Hours melt away, and moments blur into days as they refine and innovate flavours, drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of local tastes and modern creative flavour profiles with the timeless essence of traditional French Crepes.

Kopi O

Kopi-O-Crepe

Kopi-O, a traditional Singaporean coffee, is a beloved beverage found in kopitiams. Our local twist on the classic dessert, Tiramisu, captures nostalgia and familiarity. This unique creation aims to satisfy coffee lovers with a taste that is both relatable and reminiscent of Singapore's rich coffee culture.

Apam Balik

Apam Balik Crepe

A local traditional dessert with a sweet peanut pancake turned over with a sugary, buttery peanut filling. The pancake is named over on the action while flipping the pancakes over. It's also known as "Min Jiang Kueh" in Hokkien dialect.

The Apam Balik as our muse, we decided to create our own variation of it. Based on how it's our best seller, our Apam Balik speaks for itself.

Crepe Dadar

Crepe-Dadar-Pancakes

Kuih Dadar is a popular Southeast Asian dessert consisting of a thin, green pancake filled with grated coconut and palm sugar. The Pandan juice gives it a vibrant green colour and a hint of fragrant flavour. The grated coconut is cooked with palm sugar to create a sweet and caramel-like filling.

Our Crepe Dadar was inspired by infusing the Pandan flavour into our crepe batter. Rolled it up with homemade malt crumble, milk crumble, rich pastry cream and coated it with the grated coconut. Lastly, a vanilla soft-serve sitting on top of the crepe pancakes finished off with a drizzle of gula melaka.

Pineapple Crepe Tart

Pinapple-Tart-Crepe

Pineapple tart is a famous pastry in Singapore that is commonly enjoyed during festive occasions, especially Chinese New Year. It is a buttery, crumbly pastry shell filled with sweet, tangy pineapple jam.

The inspiration for this crepe was from Chinese New Year; Pineapple in Hokkien Dialect mean ONG, which is prosperity.

Our take on this crepe is by infusing the more substantial red colour element into the pancakes. The soul of the dessert is Creme pattiesere, almond crumble. With additional flavours of Pineapple tart, Spiced, Sabayon and Orange cream. Garnish it with the homemade tuile.

Goma Roll

Black-Sesame-Crepe-Dessert

A dessert is designed to encourage guests to 'play' with their food, to simultaneously introduce interactivity with something new but very familiar.

Designed to replicate a Japanese maki roll, the Goma Roll is packed with the familiar flavours of Black Sesame, Chocolate, Caramel and the unexpected Miso! It even comes complete with our Sesame 'Seaweed' Brittle and a Chocolate Gold dipping sauce, just coz you wouldn't want to dip them in soy sauce.

Our uniqueness extends beyond our menu. As a part of a more prominent culinary family, we share a close bond with our sister brand, *Picanhas'*.
